The exterior dominates the interior, but I think most would agree, it is as enviable as the interior. Master Bedroom and 4 Guest Bedrooms. Five baths and two powder rooms. Three of the Guest Bathrooms enjoy private outdoor showers. Gymnasium. In addition, there are two one bedroom caretaker’s apartments at the Coach House and 3 car garage. The ocean side structure was built on the foundations of a 30+ year old home. The original home was place on iron shore with straight 15’ drop off to sandy beach below and only 40’ back from the ocean. Today’s codes require homes to be place a minimum of 120’ from the sea. Due to the inherent structure to be renovated, we were grandfathered to the 40’ contravention, which is one of the most striking features of the home. It really feels like the ocean is in the house.
